THE OPENNESS OF CONSCIENCE: NATIONAL UNITY AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

The presentation of "The interactive scientific historical map "People of Kazakhstan" organized by the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch. Valikhanov together with the institution "Qoǵamdyq kelіsіm" at the akimat of the capital took place in Nur-Sultan. The event was held as part of the implementation of the state program "Rukhani Zhangyru" and the article "Seven Facets of the Great Steppe" by the First President of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev.

"The interactive scientific historical map "People of Kazakhstan" was developed at the instruction of Elbassy, announced at the XXV session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan on April 26, 2017. The purpose of the map is to show in detail the process of consolidation of all nationalities on the ancient Kazakh land, taking into account the special state-forming mission of the Kazakh nation.

In the course of the event, the presentation «Openness of conscious: national unity and international cooperation» was made by the leading researcher of the Social-Humanitarian and Educational Projects Department of the Library of Elbassy Aslan Azerbaev. In his speech, he attempted to convey the idea of the "openness of conscious" as a component of the worldview of the Kazakh people. According to the speaker, the worldview is based on the type of rationality. In this regard, we should talk about the rationality of the Kazakh nomads, the essence of which can be expressed as: "Reasonable is that which preserves life and peace", "Reasonable is that which is good."

"The historical formation of the Kazakh people has ingrained in their minds tolerance, the desire for dialogue to learn the values of other cultures and confessions in order to create favorable conditions for an interaction. "The openness of conscious" as one of the directions of modernization of public consciousness can be characterized by the ideas of outstanding historical thinkers of the Kazakh steppe, who adopted the most useful and necessary things from other peoples while preserving and improving the national essence itself. This is Abu Nasr al-Farabi, who studied the legacy of the ancient Greeks and applied their rationalism to interpret the Islamic faith and develop a model of the "virtuous city" as a methodology for spiritual and moral recovery. This is also Chokan Valikhanov, in the words of the Russian poet A. Maikov, who combined "the cream of the crop of European education and science with the scholarship of the East." This is great Abai, who called for justice and love for all mankind, the study of wisdom and science, borrowing everything that will help the Kazakhs become an equal, full-fledged subject of universal civilization. Thus, as Elbassy wrote in the book "In the flow of history": "The national talent of the Kazakh people, based on the principle of the openness of conscious" should be one of the aspects of Kazakhstan's civil identity," A. Azerbaev said.

The interactive scientific historical map "People of Kazakhstan" is made in three languages and contains extensive material on the formation of the multi-ethnic population of Kazakhstan from ancient times to the present day. In addition, the map provides valuable information about representatives of more than 60 ethnic groups living in peace and harmony with the Kazakh people, about the history of the capital based on archival and statistical sources.

The event was attended by representatives of ethnocultural centers of the capital, as well as scientists, public and state figures, youth leaders, representatives of the public, and the media. The speakers discussed the importance of the interactive map in strengthening inter-ethnic harmony, features of studying it in universities, and prospects for its improvement.
