«HARMONY OF SHAPE AND PATTERN». THE LIBRARY OF ELBASSY OPENS A SERIES OF EXHIBITIONS DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT

The Library of Elbassy opens a series of exhibitions dedicated to the Day of the First President. On November 8 in the Museum of the Library of Elbassy the opening of the thematic fund exhibition "Harmony of shape and pattern" took place. State and public figures, representatives of the Embassies of Azerbaijan, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Japan, the Korean cultural center, University students, teachers, and school students, attended the event.

- The exhibition is the result of work on the project "Museum collection" within the framework of the same name research program, whose tasks is a comprehensive study of thematic collections, disclosure of their scientific, cultural, representative potential. The study of the museum collection is one of the most interesting areas of our work because only one exhibit contains many layers of information: about the object itself, the giver, the circumstances in which the gift was presented. After all, most of the collection consists of diplomatic gifts, in different years handed over to Elbassy N. Nazarbaev. It should be noted that the collection of dishes is presented for the first time in a separate complex, a catalog has been prepared for this collection, - said Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov at the opening ceremony. He also informed that the following most interesting collections of exhibits will be presented in the new building of the Library next year.

The exhibition presents decorative dishes from the collection of souvenirs. These are the best examples of products of Russian and West European manufacturers, Turkish factories, and other masterpieces made of porcelain, glass, ceramic, metal, stone and wood, a variety of different forms, decoration and manufacturing techniques. Almost all the exhibits of the exhibition "Harmony of shape and pattern" are presented to the public for the first time.
