Guest exhibition «Asian vector of foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan»
On September 16, 2014 at Almaty regional historical-local museum named after M. Tynyshpayev was held the opening of the exhibition «Asian vector of foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan» from the funds of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana).
The exhibition was opened by A.K. Kenderbek an advisor of the mayor of Almaty region, R.R. Esdauletov a head of the department of culture, archives and documentations of Almaty region, K.K. Aktaeva a deputy director of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition took part the heads of local governments, the representatives of the public, cultural institutions of the city, the students of high universities and schoolchildren.
At the exhibition are presented 109 exhibits, including documents and photographs, things from the museum's collections, gifted to the leader of Kazakhstan during business meetings and official visits to foreign countries in recognition of the international authority of our country and its First President.
The documents and photographs that form a chronicle of one of the strategic directions of the foreign policy of Kazakhstan open the main content of the exhibition. The gifts from the heads of the states and governments, the delegations of China, Japan, India, Turkey, the countries of Asia-Pacific region, the Muslim countries are made at the highest level: silver and decorative products, things of decorative-applied art, sculptures. This is a small part that shows an amazing and unique culture of the East countries. At the exhibition are presented the works which are divided into six groups, which are practically covering all regions of Asia: countries of the Muslim world, the Middle and Far East, Central Asia, South - East Asia, Asia-Pacific region. This small, compact exhibition tells not only of close diplomatic relations with these countries of Kazakhstan, established during the years of independence, but also about their culture and traditions.
Each exhibit has artistic value: decorative dishes, ceramics, clothes, sculptures, panels. Each gift is a sign, which embodied era, people and their art.
