Exhibition «Kazakhstan: the territory of peace, spirituality and consent» in Akmola regional folk museum (Kokshetau)
On September 29, 2015 in Akmola regional folk museum was opened the exhibition «Kazakhstan: the territory of peace, spirituality and consent» from the funds of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana).
The exhibition was opened by Burbaeva S.B. the head of the Department of culture of Akmola region, Aktaeva K.K. the deputy director of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the opening ceremony took part the heads of local authorities, the representatives of public and the secretariat of Akmola Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, the directors of the museums of Kokshetau and cultural institutions of the city.
At the exposition were presented more than 100 exhibits including documents and photos, subjects from the museum collections connected with anniversaries of independent Kazakhstan: 20th anniversary of the Constitution and Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan.
The main content of the exhibition reveals a unique collection of materials from funds of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan: personal things and documents of N. A. Nazarbayev, gifts presented from the heads of states and governments of the foreign states, the photo and archival documents about activity, main ideas, initiatives of the Head of state aimed at the successful forward development of the legal independent state and strengthening of authority at the international level.
The visitors could see the works of graphic and decorative-applied arts, revealing national culture, languages and traditions of the people of Kazakhstan: silverware, colourful panels, sculptures, souvenir compositions, household items, carpets and national clothes of people of the world.
